Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Running Cadence application for iPhone and Apple Watch.
Using Running Cadence
You may use Running Cadence for personal fitness activities in accordance with applicable law. You are responsible for choosing an appropriate cadence, remaining aware of your surroundings, using your devices safely and stopping if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort.
Not medical advice
Running Cadence provides a rhythmic reference only. It is not a medical device, diagnostic service, injury-prevention tool, running coach or substitute for professional medical advice. The app does not evaluate whether a target cadence is safe or appropriate for you. Consult a qualified professional when needed.
License
Running Cadence grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple’s applicable usage rules. No ownership rights in Running Cadence are transferred to you.
Trial and Running Cadence Pro
The app may provide three complete Apple Watch Pro trial sessions. Under the current trial rules, a session is consumed only after at least 60 seconds of active cadence guidance. Trial state is enforced locally and may reset if the app is reinstalled. After the trial, Watch haptic guidance requires a one-time lifetime in-app purchase. Pricing and currency are displayed by the App Store. Purchases, refunds and payment processing are handled by Apple and subject to Apple’s terms. Restore Purchases requires the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
Haptic guidance and availability
Haptic timing and perceptibility can vary with Watch model, watchOS behavior, wrist position, movement, battery state, system load and other conditions. Running Cadence does not guarantee that every cue will be delivered or perceived, that guidance will remain available without interruption, or that following the cues will produce a particular pace, performance or health outcome.
Local storage and synchronization
Running Cadence provides local storage and best-effort paired-device synchronization. Synchronization depends on Apple services, connectivity and device configuration. You should not rely on the app as the sole record of information that cannot be recreated.
Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer Running Cadence except where applicable law permits it, interfere with the app or related services, misuse third-party services, or use Running Cadence in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
Availability and changes
We may fix, update, change or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, continuous synchronization, or compatibility with every future operating-system or device version.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Running Cadence is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Running Cadence’s developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including injury, loss of fitness information or inability to access guidance. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
Apple
Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Running Cadence. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce the applicable license terms.
